Born in a farming community down near Long Point, Justin came to Guelph in 2006 to attend the University of Guelph, to study History. Immediately falling in love with the the area, he knew it was home when trying to get from the University to the downtown area driving down Gordon street, he was stuck behind a tractor. What would have been annoying to most people, Justin thought it might be a sign that Guelph was the place for him.
In 2013, Justin went to Conestoga College and graduated with a diploma in Marketing & Advertising Communications, where he spent the next 5 years working in that field. In 2020, Justin ventured out on his own and started his own company.
Justin currently lives in the Willow West area and during his free time can commonly be found at the dog park with his dog, Noodles.
WHO IS JUSTIN?
WHY VOTE FOR JUSTIN
Living in Guelph is becoming more and more unaffordable, with rising prices in the grocery store, out of control housing prices and all our health systems failing us. Residents are having to choose between putting food on the table or keeping a roof over their heads, and we are seeing a rise in mental health issues and addiction without the proper resources!
What I will fight for and be a strong advocate about is smart and sustainable growth, proper resources to match our growing population and holding all our elected officials accountable!
These are some of the reasons I believe I am the right choice for Ward 4 on October 24th!
Some of the issues I really want to work towards tackling are; affordable housing, infrastructure planning, mental health and homelessness.
I will release a more comprehensive plan closer to election time on these specific issues and more, as I continue to talk to residents and figure out what is the most important to them.
